Our Story
Nourishing Hope Since 2010
Legae Child Care Centre was founded in 2010 by a group of concerned community members who recognized the growing need to support vulnerable children in Mahikeng. What began as a small feeding program has grown into a comprehensive care center serving hundreds of children daily.
Our name "Legae" means "home" in Setswana, reflecting our commitment to providing a safe, nurturing environment where children can grow, learn, and thrive regardless of their circumstances.
Over the past 13 years, we have served over 500,000 nutritious meals and provided educational support, clothing, and care to more than 2,500 children in our community.
